Dream #32

I'm in a canoe, but then it's not a canoe, it's a sarcophagus and I'm rowing down a river in the desert and it's night; the sky is dark blue, almost black but still blue and the stars are very precise and clear and they illuminate the river bank but do not overwhelm it. And on the river banks there are these lanky fruit trees but not many, one every twenty feet or so. And as I row there are two tigers, one on each bank of the river. The tigers follow me and keep pace with me and they talk to each other and talk to me in a language I do not know but I understand what they are saying and I am happy. Then these vicious monkey type creatures appear and they attack the tiger on the right bank and begin to tear him apart and the tiger on the left is shrieking in horror and she is screaming at me to intercede but instead I woke up. And upon waking I felt very sad and uneasy.
