Dream #28I'm walking down the hall of an old apartment build. The walls in the hall are a dark red and the woodwork is dark and the ceilings are high. I don't look up but I know the ceilings are high. In front of me is an elevator with a gate in front of it. I turn around and behind me on the floor I see a gold pocket watch with spider legs crawling towards me and I'm overcome with fear. I get into the elevator and close the door and the elevator begins to ascend. I see the pocket watch run towards the elevator but it doesn't make it on and the elevator ascends very high very rapidly. I get off and I am on a dome high above the city and I can see for hundreds of miles and every direction. I have binoculars and I look around the city at little pockets of light and I see people going about their lives. Then I am afraid to take the elevator back down. Then the fear passes and I take the elevator back down. I get off at a floor and I walk down the hall. I see the watch and it has it's back to me and cannot see me. I walk up to the watch and slam my foot on top of it. The watch lets out a piercing scream and then it's quiet. Then someone who I don't know approaches me and tells me that I just killed my wife.
